Mother's Day and 'A Job From Hell'

As I have said, 100% of my time is devoted toward writing, editing, publishing, and marketing The Warrior Series.  As a Mother's Day gift to myself, I took a few hours this weekend and read Jayde Scott's A Job From Hell (Ancient Legends).

After reading this paranormal adventure, I have a whole new appreciation for the day-to-day monotony of my own job.

Even though A Job From Hell (Ancient Legend) is embedded with vampires, fallen angels, and demons, Jayde Scott has done a great job at creating an original story-line that will keep readers coming back for the rest of the series.

I have no intention of giving away the plot, but I will say that this book exemplifies the worst case scenario of a new job.  Amber quickly finds out her new boss is a monster (literally), and it's all uphill (periodically, downhill) from there.  With, A Job From Hell (Ancient Legend) there are lots of different characters for readers to obsess over; and a fresh heroine to act as a role model for young girls (even if at times that means she shows them what NOT to do); and, a new source of good vs. evil vs. good & evil.

Congratulations to Ms. Scott on an awesome accomplishment.
