Feature & Follow Friday #153

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Meme: Feature Follow

Day: Friday

Premis: The meme hosts will 1) feature two (2) blog sites and 2) propose two questions that participating bloggers will answer on their blogs sites and give their followers the chance to join in.

This week's featured blogs: Insightful Minds Reviews and Book Sniffers Anonymous
Follow these sites. (Don't forget to check out Insightful Minds Reviews' review of Grave Bound.)

This week's featured questions: Pick the question you like best and leave a comment.

Q: What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?

A: I'd like to say New Adult is a guilty reading pleasure, but it is more of a guilty writing pleasure. I LOVE writing New Adult because it gives me flexibilities I was not afforded when writing young adult. I don't have to censor the language or the love scenes. I can make them real, natural, and complete.

Q: Tell us about the most emotional scene you've ever read in a book and how you reacted?

A: I was extremely upset when Rose (Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy #3) by  realized Demetri had turned Strigoi. I did not see that coming.

    • Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
    • If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
    • Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
    • If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
    • If you’re new to the follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
